No glasses?
We’re working on that.
A contact-lens version of CTALK is in development with the Human Perception Lab at Stanford University. Same text on your eye. Nothing on your face.
Join the pilot list below. Qualifying participants receive their lenses free when the pilot runs.
How the pilot works
- 1
Join the list
Leave your email below. That's it for now.
- 2
Get screened
When the pilot opens, Stanford's Human Perception Lab invites people on the list to a clinical research study. Not everyone will qualify.
- 3
Wear them free
Participants who qualify and enrol receive their CTALK lenses at no cost for the length of the study.
The contact-lens version is a research prototype. It is not for sale, not FDA-cleared, and has no release date. Technical details are confidential until the pilot opens. Joining the list is not enrolment in a study and does not guarantee a place.
Why a lens
About one in seven adults has trouble hearing. Most of them don’t wear glasses, and plenty never want to. The lens is for them: the same captions, messages and alerts, with nothing on your face at all.
Same rules as the glasses
No camera. Nothing sent to the cloud. Only you can see the text. If you already have a spot on the glasses waitlist, you keep it — this is a separate list for the pilot. See how the glasses work.
