The first-batch deposit

The $50.00 USD first-batch deposit reserves a numbered spot in the first 324 pairs of CTALK glasses. It is applied in full to the purchase price of your glasses and locks the $50/month financing price shown at the time you paid.

Fully refundable before shipping

You can cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit at any time before your glasses ship, for any reason. Email hello@mail.ctalk.fan from the address you paid with. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days; Stripe processes the refund and emails confirmation.

If we can’t deliver

If CTALK does not ship, or the final product differs materially from what was described when you paid, every deposit is refunded in full automatically. We will email you before that happens.

After shipping

Once your glasses ship, the deposit becomes part of your purchase and the return terms for the finished product apply (published before shipping; at minimum a 6-month return window as stated on the site).

No taxes on the deposit

The deposit is not a sale and no sales tax is charged on it. Tax, if any, is calculated on the final purchase.
